Principal Veterinarian & Co-Owner
Dr. Jayne Thomson
BVBiol/BVSc (Hons)
After graduating from Charles Sturt University many years ago Jayne started her career in a busy multi-vet mixed animal practice in Bundaberg. There she gained invaluable skills in soft tissue surgery, large animal medicine and emergency care.
In 2016 she moved back to the area after taking on part of the family farm. She worked in Warwick for several years as a mixed animal vet before resigning to welcome her first child with Dr David.
After a short maternity break she resumed her veterinary career at Killarney Vets.
Jayne has a keen interest in soft tissue surgery and equine reproduction amongst many other aspects of mixed practice. Jayne is a certified pregcheck and bullcheck veterinarian.
When not vetting Jayne has 2 young children keeping her on her toes. She also enjoys breeding and training her quarter horses and welsh cobs.

Dr. Kaitlyn H
BVSc (Hons)
Dr Kaitlyn graduated from the University of Queensland, Gatton in 2023 with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (Hons). Originally from the Scenic Rim (Boonah), she grew up surrounded by animals, which sparked her passion for veterinary science. Kaitlyn moved to Warwick and joined the KVS team, where she enjoys the variety of both small & large animal work.
Her special interests include equine reproduction, cattle obstetrics, and small animal dermatology and nutrition.
Outside the clinic, Kaitlyn spends her time adventuring with her 2 Border Collie's, and loves camping/4WDing.

Dr. Matt Littleproud
BVSc
Having grown up in Toowoomba before moving to Townsville to follow his passion where he graduated with from James Cook University. Matt grew up around animals and has a passion for all aspects of both small & large animals.
Matt has moved to Warwick where he hopes to get involved in the local community. In his spare time he enjoys playing sports especially cricket and rugby and spending time with his new golden retriever puppy.

Veterinary Nurse
Kearna Pott
Cert IV
Kearna joined Killarney Vets in 2021 and is a key part of our nursing team. She completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing in 2019, after earlier studies in equine care, including a Certificate II in Equine Studies and a Diploma in Equine and Canine Acupuncture.
Outside of work, Kearna enjoys life on the farm with her partner Jesse, spending time with family, camping, fishing, and competing in the show ring with her horses Frost, Dyson and Billy.

Jessica Grayson
Currently studying Bachelor of Veterinary Technology
Jess is currently studying a Bachelor of Veterinary Technology at UQ and has been working as a vet nurse for over 8 years. She loves caring for all creatures great and small, from birds & guinea pigs to horses & cattle.
She completed a Certificate III in Horse Breeding during high school and has taken part in wildlife research trips in Africa, studying lion, hyena and elephant behaviour. Outside of work, Jess enjoys 4WDing & camping with friends, running her hobby business at local markets, travelling, and spoiling her pets at home.

Tiffany Vincent
Cert IV
Tiffany is a familiar local face, having completed her schooling in Warwick before graduating in 2018 with a Certificate III in Rural Operations and Agriculture. She went on to complete her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing in 2022. After spending some time working in equine reproduction, Tiff has discovered a love for all aspects of mixed practice and enjoys caring for animals both big and small.
Outside of work, Tiffany is an active member of the Killarney Polocrosse Club and can often be found on the field. At home, she loves tending to her veggie garden and spending time with her dogs.

Maddison Griffiths
Cert IV
Maddi has been part of the Killarney Vets team since 2015, starting as a school-based trainee while completing her Certificate II in Rural Operations and Certificate II in Animal Studies. After graduating high school in 2018, she joined the clinic full-time and went on to complete her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing, becoming a qualified vet nurse in 2021.
Outside of work, Maddi enjoys life on the property with her husband Jack, their young child, and their dogs, horses and cattle. She is currently on maternity leave as they prepare to welcome their second baby.
